The school was not designed to facilitate culture. It was created as a place for learning, but for a multitude of reasons, the school has become a more central influence on the lives of students. It is now tasked with educating them and developing them into capable and confident members of society. Our program is designed to help schools bridge the gap, rolled out in three stages.
Mentorship
Training students to become Changemakers in their school and Community.
Students will not only be taught the Foolish Genius Curriculum, they will have an opportunity to practice what they learn and receive mentees of their own. Each student will learn and walk through the four I's of change. This package is the most economical choice, and will create a legacy of student-leaders in your school.
Community
Involvement
Creating a strong and student-led community of character, collaboration, and camaraderie within the school.
This package involves all of the school's stakeholders. It takes the leaders developed in the first package, and builds a true community around them with in the school. We train school staff and parents on how they can be apart of their student's leadership development, and provide school leadership with an in-depth audit of their school as a holistic community.
Community
Transformation
Positioning the school a change agent in their greater community.
This package places the school at the center of a community-wide campaign. Student leaders, school leadership, and community leaders will come together to create a plan for community transformation. This campaign will be facilitated by the Foolish Genius team, and is based on research done by John P. Kretzmann and John L. McKnight. For more information, contact us below!
